Book-keeper/ Accounts Support
We are looking for someone to setup and run a variety of general accounting support tasks, including:
Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
Updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
Setup accounting software (Xero)
Update/maintain accounting data in Xero.
Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
Reconciles records with relevant person/s internal and external to our group.
Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
Investigates questionable data.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel. Competency with Xero or similar accounting package.
Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
Requires 3 years experience.
